Hi! I thought it was a very fun bughouse gathering! I especially enjoyed the following:

1) Kingwalker's "CHECK!".
2) Kitan's funny as hell cockroach story.
3) "You got nothing!".
4) Taking all my opponent's pieces.
5) JTP's snore.
6) All you can eat foods and drinks.
7) "Eggs are ready!".
8) Meeting new people and seeing old buggers from previous gathering.
9) Those bugs in the 'bughouse'.
10) Those mustards in the kitchen.

Things I wish I can forget from this gathering:
1- How whoami overpaid for the airline tickets (did you expect me not to flame you for that?)
2- JTP's snore (I still hear it from here!)
3- The thirteen floor movie (stinks!)
4- My damn tooth ache!~~~
5- The way that time seems to fly. I wish I had been able to be longer time there.
6- My unsuccessfull trying to say "Mason, give me a rook" trough the speakers.

And for those who didn't go, I'll check with whoami to record my CHECK! in a wave file.

Hi guys!

I had a great time at the gathering! Lots of laughs and literally no arguments!! (At least the days I was there :) Heck, if all the fics bughouse players met, played over-the-board, and got the opportunity to know each other in real life there would probably be much fewer arguments in channel 24. :)

The only low point at the gathering was getting mated by fpawn in less than 8 moves into the game! ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!! I'm NEVER going to forget that, fpawn! :-) hehehehe

1. Thank you ajedrez for the hospitality.

2. Thank you zap in advance for sending me extra gathering pics.

3. Thank you DrWaggles for appologizing to me each game we lost even when I hang 14 queens, 2 rooks, 3 Knights to get you mated. 

4. Thank you Kingwalker for inspiring me to walk my king more often.

5. Thank you jtp for crushing me game after game after game.

6. Thank you WhoAmI for showing me how to cheat at bughouse properly -- grabbing all your chess pieces off the board and re-placing them on more effective squares to attack your opponent's king during time scramble.

7. Thank you fsdo for screaming at me to "move faster! faster! faster!" when my opponent was mated in 1 and could not move anymore.

8. Thank you InsaneManiac for chasing 50 feet after the pingpong ball after each time I hit the ball.

9. Thank you MiRu for sleeping with mondard so I did not have to.

10. Thank you all for an awesome time.

11. Thank you all for 'making it hurt!' :-)

Oh I didn't know we had to thank WhoAmI for that. Well I guess thanks to WhoAmI for taking all of my pieces TWICE. And thanks to DrWaggles for almost mating his opp in one of those games even though I was his partner and had lost all my pieces.
